A local love story
Da Matteo provides Gothenburg with high-quality coffee
And with Dry Molded Fiber lids on top, their takeaway coffee reaches a new level.
We are on top of it
At PulPac, we love a great cup of coffee. And we know a great coffee experience is about the details. Even a coffee-to-go should be the best version of itself, having as low impact on the coffee and the environment as possible.
We are on top of it – literally. Da Matteo in Gothenburg now serves your takeaway coffee with Dry Molded Fiber lids.
A LOCAL COLLABORATION
A ’sustainable city’ requires local partnerships
The people of Gothenburg can now enjoy their takeaway coffee with a locally produced, recyclable fiber-based lid. Together with da Matteo, we present a scalable alternative for takeaway that will decrease the environmental impact – and contribute to the sustainability goals set by the city of Gothenburg.

Even a coffee-to-go should be the best version of itself
” When guests don’t have a reusable to-go cup themselves, we want to offer them as sustainable alternatives as possible. Providing a lid that saves water and energy during the production and – last but not least – that doesn’t taste like paper, feels good! Dry Molded Fiber is a great fit for us.”
LINA SANDERSSON NYBERG, CEO, DA MATTEO

UNDERSTANDING COFFEE DRINKERS
”Knowledge about
consumers is everything”
How well does the lid fit the cup? How is the sense of touch to the lips? Are people more likely to purchase coffee from a brand that uses sustainable fiber-based lids over those that use traditional plastic lids? Questions like these are key to us. We wanted insights into coffee drinkers’ experiences, and that’s why we collected reviews when we first launched the lids!

COFFEE DRINKER REVIEW
”How can this possibly be made of paper?”
I rarely think about the lid. But I noticed the smooth sense of touch, and not the rugged surface as on other lids made out of paper. I only buy takeaway coffee once in a while, and to not consume unnessecary plastics feels good.
