A local love story

By the shores of Gothenburg

PulPac proudly presents — a collaboration rooted in a shared passion for the sea and a commitment to fight plastic in our oceans.

Serving the ocean, responsibly

Algblomman, founded by seaweed diver and ocean advocate Karolina Martinson, brings people closer to the sea through food. By harvesting seaweed and other shoreline edibles, she inspires us to rediscover the ocean’s flavors while reminding us of the urgent need to protect it.

We’ve teamed up

At PulPac, we share Karolinas passion — and concern about plastic pollution. Our technology, Dry Molded Fiber, replaces single-use plastics with fiber — reducing waste and emissions while saving valuable resources such as water and energy.

At Karolina’s “on-the-go” tastings and events, her seaweed creations are often served in small bowls and spoons made from Dry Molded Fiber. Together, we show that every choice — from what we eat to how it’s served — can make a difference.

BIODEGRADABLE

Breaks down naturally if it would end up in our oceans or in nature.

Renewable

Made from renewable and certified sources.

RECYCLABLE

Fits right into the paper recycling infrastructure.

RESPONSIBLY PRODUCED

Our dry manufacturing process saves water and reduces CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to plastic.

A taste of innovation and

A spoonful of seaweed

The spoons and the small taste testing bowls that Karolina is using are made with Dry Molded Fiber, a new technology that can replace single-use plastic on global scale.

Competitive, scalable and responsibly produced fiber-based alternatives to plastic.

Packaging that just makes sense

PulPac is here to turn off the plastic tap — and offer the world a smarter way forward. Our purpose is to unlock the full potential of fiber. To replace single-use plastic at the source — and rethink how everyday products are made.
