“Presses both prices and pulp”

“The Göteborg company PulPac has patented a revolutionary method of molding pulp into bowls, mugs and hangers. Everything is biodegradable and the raw material costs only half as much as plastic.

Today, increasingly high demands are being made for the destruction of environmentally harmful and health hazardous plastic pellets, including from the EU Commission. No wonder that PulPac can be “as big as Tetra Pak”.

CEO Linus Larsson laughs at the comparison. “Well, we have great plans here, but it would be hubris to talk about them right now. Our short-term goal is to be profitable within a couple of years, he says.”
